Studio Events
The Fifth Ave Studio holds a fall and a spring recital at the beautiful historical Central Presbyterian Church on 4th and Kimbark, Downtown Longmont. These recitals are open to friends and family members as well as studio members.
The following events available to students are sponsored by the Boulder Area Piano Teachers Association and include:
Multiple Piano Festival
A duet event featuring students performing on twelve grand pianos at Vance Brand Auditorium in November – This is an audition event.
Ensemble Festival
Performing with other instruments in a chamber music setting – open for all.
Music Festival
A competitive event featuring classical music performance.
Achievement Day
A non-competitive event held at CU’s School of Music where students can perform one on one for judges and show their progress in many areas, including (but not limited to) performance, composition, voice, art, performance on a second instrument, theory, music history, ear training.
