Teaching Staff

Owner Instructor, Nancy Sundal

With over twenty years of private piano study and lessons, I am able to pass along the tradition of the private teacher/student relationship to you and your child. My experience and training includes over 15 years of traditional classical studies with emphasis on technique and focus on romatic and modern literature and 6 years study of the jazz solo piano, theory and “combo”piano technique and improvisation. I have lived and worked in longmont for 15 years, teaching privately and working in the community as an accompanist and performer.

As past president of the Boulder Area Music Teacher’s Association, and member of Music Teachers National Association and the Colorado State Music Teachers Association, I have access to information, activities and professional colleagues that can greatly enhance the student’s learning experience; such as Achievement Day at the University of Colorado in May, the Multiple Piano Festival in the fall and countless opportunities to collaborate with other musicians in competitions, festivals and master classes if desired. As a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers I can offer a non-competitive teaching environment which offers acknowledgment and rewards to each student based on their own merit.
